Matt Armstrong is the Product Marketing Senior Manager for BrightDrop. He has spent most of his career in the automotive industry and at General Motors. At BrightDrop he helps develop product requirements while incorporating customer feedback and ensuring brand value. He communicates how products deliver value and meet customer needs to the development teams. He collaborates across functions to ensure organizational readiness for successful product launches and positive ongoing business results. Mr. Armstrong received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Information Systems and Master of Business Administration in Corporate Strategy and Marketing from the University of Michigan.

Brian Curry is a Senior Safety Performance Integration Team Leader for the 2023/24 BrightDrop Zevo 600 and 400 programs. Prior to working on Zevo, Mr. Curry was the Safety Performance Team Leader for the Cadillac CT5 and XT4 as well as the Buick Envision. He brings nearly two decades of engineering experience to his role. He is responsible for developing vehicle safety strategy, as well as leading the Safety Performance Integration Team in developing design strategies and validating vehicle internal and regulatory performance targets. Mr. Curry received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University and his Master’s degree in Mechanical - Biomechanical Engineering from Wayne State University.  

Michael Carpenter is the Vehicle Performance Owner for Active Safety at the General Motors Global Safety Center. He is responsible for establishing the active safety elements in GM product safety strategies, identifying new technology development needs, and representing GM on joint research projects. Mr. Carpenter has 30+ years of automotive engineering experience, including almost 20 years specific to Active Safety. Mr. Carpenter holds eight US patents for automotive safety devices, has been published multiple times, and actively participates in the SAE Active Safety Systems Standards Committee. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Lake Superior State University, his Master of Science in Engineering Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and is a 2009-2011 Research Fellow from the University of Michigan Program for Injury Research & Education (UMPIRE).
